"Per flag of truce" endorsement; 3ct 1861 #65 with target and Delaware City CDS; partial Richmond VA postmark and confederate "due 10" marking; sender's endorsement at left is from Peter M. 58th Va Regt, "prisoner of war". Per additonal dealer writeup present, Wright was wounded at the Wilderness and at Bethesda Church and was captured at Winchester in September 1864; he was confined at Fort Delaware until the end of the war.
